OUR STRATEGY

Dajani’s Website Design and Development Team will work collaboratively to implement any online application or website with a focus on user experience best practices. Our designs include a responsive design for any device (desktop, mobile or tablet) and provide access to information logically and with ease of use.

We will begin each UX/UI project by working with your team to evaluate the overall goals of the transformation and create a Deliverable Expectation Documents (DEDs) to establish deliverables, dates, and payment schedule. Based on the DEDs, will develop Deliverable Acceptance Documents (DADs) for each deliverable.

Upon completing the mutually agreed upon DEDs, and related project administration, we will next work in collaboration with your team to gather all the appropriate business and technical documentation. These documents will likely include business requirements, content evaluation, information architecture, application design, and analytics reporting specifications.

ANALYSIS

We will conduct a thorough analysis of the current website, including user task flows, content evaluation, compliance, and usability across multiple devices. We will prepare a system analysis document and an implementation plan.

1. Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather business requirements
2. Participate in joint application design (JAD) sessions to broaden communications as to the status of the project and resolve any ambiguities
3. Review functionalities of each user’s tasks and identify gaps or constraints between the existing functionality and the target functionality
4. Review and analyze existing information architecture, design, and source code to identify existing components that requires modification to support the requirements.
5. Identify missing functionalities that need to be added to the applications to support the new requirements
6. Review existing reports to identify changes and identify new reports to be added
7. Once we have identified and documented changes required, we will conduct a review session with CalOES to validate our findings
8. We will collaborate with your team to develop a plan to iteratively enhance and release the new design to production

Our Design and Development Team will work with you to plan and provide all the elements that create a successfully branded website. This may include,

We will produce detailed specifications for that align with your team’s guidelines. We will use the requirements gathered during the analysis phase to enhance the design and usability of the website to ensure ease of use. We will identify any new functionality that should be added to website to increase the user’s experience. We will ensure the redesigned website supports the internal staff’s need to evaluate the analytics of the website in easy-to-understand data points.

ONGOING SUPPORT

The Dajani Team will work closely with CalOES to incorporate the approved design with a focus on the best practices of usability standards.

Following an iterative schedule, we will design and develop the website with testing to ensure your website is available to all users no matter the platform, device, or browser. Upon the completion of development, we will schedule a review session with your team to obtain feedback and subsequent approval.

Our Team will also support testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to diagnose and resolve any related application defects which can be logged for tracking purposes.

We will work closely with CalOES to document the steps taken to implement the new website, prepare deployment checklists and any other related documentation. Our Team will provide continuous support to CalOES during iterative releases to production. 

CONTINUOUS KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER

The Dajani Team will provide highly collaborative knowledge sharing throughout the project and knowledge transfer during the project’s final phase. Our goal will be to ensure your team can successfully maintain and support the website and understand the analytics to be better prepared to make decisions for future enhancements.

During the post-production support period, the Dajani Team will advise your team on how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve any website issues. We will foster a peer programming approach to ensure your staff gains hands-on experience with making changes to resolve issues or enhancements.
